Children's Art Class with Alexis Starke

Weekly: held every Wednesday, starting January 13, 2010.

The Library is offering a series of free Art Classes for children in grades 3-6, taught by Alexis Starke. All materials are provided. Smocks are provided as well, or children can bring their own.

Students will create imaginative art projects on a number of themes. Projects will include drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and mixed media using a variety of materials and techniques suited to the age group. Students will be introduced to various artists from art history. Creativity is emphasized in a relaxed setting.
