Bus Trip for Piermont Residents to the 9/11 Museum and One World Observatory

Overview: The Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library is offering a bus trip to the 9/11 Museum and One World Trade Center on Saturday, September 29th for residents of Piermont. This trip is made possible by a generous grant from an anonymous member of the Piermont community. This trip includes round trip transportation between Piermont and New York City, a guided tour of the 9/11 Museum, and tickets to One World Observatory at One World Trade Center.

Purchasing tickets: Tickets are available to Piermont residents only. Proof of Piermont residency (i.e. driver's license) must be provided when purchasing tickets. There is a limit of four tickets per resident.

Payment is required when tickets are purchased. Tickets must be purchased in person at the library so that payment can be collected. Payment must be in the form of a check or cash. Credit cards will not be accepted.

Tickets will be sold at the library beginning on Saturday, July 7th at 10am.

Tickets are $40 per person for children, adults, and seniors. The 9/11 Museum suggests that children be at least seven years of age to visit the Museum.

Discount for Piermont Firefighters: We have set aside up to five tickets for Piermont Firefighters at the discounted price of $30. Limit one ticket per Firefighter at the discounted price. Piermont Fire Department ID must be shown when registering in order to qualify for the discount.

Details for the day of: On the day of the trip, we will board the bus at 8:30am and will return by 7:00pm. Each registrant will be checked in by a Library staff member before boarding the bus. The bus will pick up the group in the parking lot adjacent to the Library and attendees of this trip may park in the Library's parking lot during the trip. Food will be available for purchase at the Brookfield Place food court near the museum and other eateries in the surrounding area. Please review the museum’s visitor rules and regulations regarding security screening, bag size, photography, etc. Security screening is mandatory for all visitors that wish to enter the Memorial Museum, and will include screening of all bags, equipment, and belongings. Permissible baggage, handbags, backpacks, shopping bags, equipment, and belongings for visitors is limited to 8” x 17” x 19” per item.
