Sunday Apr 30, 2017, 2 p.m.

The Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library presents a reading by three local poets: Michael Collins, Claudine Nash and Lisa Rhodes-Ryabchich. Members of the audience will have an opportunity to read original work during an open mic session after the presentation by our featured poets.

Michael Collins’ poems have received Pushcart Prize nominations and have appeared in more than 50 journals and magazines, including Grist, Kenning Journal, Pank, and Smartish Pace. His first chapbook, How to Sing when People Cut off your Head and Leave it Floating in the Water, won the Exact Change Express Chapbook Contest in 2014. A full-length collection, Psalmandala, was published later that year, and a second chapbook, Harbor Mandala, appeared in 2015. Visit http://www.notthatmichaelcollins.com

Claudine Nash’s books include Parts per Trillion (Aldrich Press, 2016) and The Problem with Loving Ghosts (Finishing Line Press, 2014).
