Piermont voters will elect three trustees for the Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library on Wednesday, Dec. 4. For the fifth consecutive year, voters will not have to approve the operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year since it does not exceed this year's budget.
The vote will take place at the library, and the poll will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. At present, the candidates for the three trustee positions, each of which carries a three-year term, are:
Danial Clark, who is seeking a first term.
- Judith Epstein, who is running for a first full term after serving an unexpired term.
Anna Hickey, who is seeking a fourth term.
The total expenses for fiscal year 2014-15 are budgeted at $327,870, of which the Village will fund $275,000, same as for this year. The remaining money comes from the South Orangetown Central School district and contributions. A copy of the budget is available for review at the library,
