Please join us as we celebrate the inaugural issue of AROUND THE TOWN, a new community magazine that seeks a light-hearted approach to a variety of topics of interest in the Hudson Valley. Editor Marian Armstrong shares that the first issue cast a spotlight on The Hudson at Piermont, an 1852 painting by Hudson River School artist Jasper Francis Cropsey. The topic prompted a closer look at six local landscape artists who paint among us today and how they wish their work to be remembered in the next century.
