Our Adult Book Club meets once a month to have a lively discussion about a new book.   Members work together to pick a variety of books- usually fiction, but sometimes memoirs. New members are always welcome!  Please call or email the library to be added to our email list (info@piermontlibrary.org).  Adult Book Club is currently meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 pm unless otherwise stated.  Join us!

For January, we are reading The Last Garden in England by Julia Kelly and meeting at the library on Wednesday, January 15th, at 3:00 pm.

Please join us as we celebrate the inaugural issue of AROUND THE TOWN, a new community magazine that seeks a light-hearted approach to a variety of topics of interest in the Hudson Valley. Editor Marian Armstrong shares that the first issue cast a spotlight on The Hudson at Piermont, an 1852 painting by Hudson River School artist Jasper Francis Cropsey. The topic prompted a closer look at six local landscape artists who paint among us today and how they wish their work to be remembered in the next century. The artists featured in our PIERMONT IN ART show are:
