Student Art Show: Inspirations from Ireland
Our Annual Student Art Show: Inspirations from Ireland is up and all are welcome to come and see it anytime the library is open!
Our students in grades 1 – 12 in Alexis Starke’s library art classes have been working on a variety of projects united by the theme Inspirations from Ireland. We have taken inspiration from the early medieval manuscript the Book of Kells; the contemporary animated film The Secret of Kells; and the jewel toned stained glass portraits of Harry Clarke, while learning some Irish history, culture, geography, and science along the way.
Come join in the excitement as our wonderful students share their artwork with the community!
