Our popular Create and Sip events have gone virtual!  Join us for a live video class on Thursday, October 22nd from 7 – 8/ 8:30 p.m.!  We will be creating a painting inspired by Swiss artist Paul Klee and his artistic awakening trip to Tunisia.  We will take a virtual trip to Tunisia and look at some of Paul Klee’s colorful and influential paintings.   Participants will receive a goody bag with a mini bottle of  wine, individual bag of chocolates, and some inspiration images.  Watercolor paints are ideal for this project, but you can work with whatever you have, including watered-down acrylics.  
These projects are designed to be beginner friendly but fun for all levels.  

Join us for the latest in our popular series of art classes with Alexis Starke!  For fall, we are offering a series of STEAM themed art classes taking inspiration from science, technology, engineering, and math.  These classes are designed to explore and enhance creative thinking, problem solving, and self-expression in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Each student will receive a bag with a new set of soft pastels and some other materials to get started.  Classes will be kept small for individual attention.  Please email Alexis with any questions- astarke@piermontlibrary.org.
